Fakesgiving

Tomorrow (today, I guess since it's 3am) I'm having "Fakesgiving" with Peter, Garrett, Michael and David. It's a themed get together and the theme is cross-dressing.

I decided I would dress up as Karl Lagerfeld. I tested out some options and came up with a plan for an outfit:

Well to be honest, I've found my zen, or satori, or whatever buddhist word is appropriate here. I am pretty well in the hole but I've got nothing to lose. So I'm done stressing about it and am relatively quite a bit more peaceful.

And thanks to someone who is always there for me when I need him, I am nibbling on parmesan Goldfish. So good.

My grandma tripped and fell in a restaurant yesterday when she went to lunch with "the girls" after church. Apparently her face is pretty messed up and she can't even open one eye. I really don't know why I don't feel more terrible about this.

Tomorrow I must go visit Jill in the hospital (seriously Sarah. You must do this!). I feel like such a flaky friend. Ugh. And today I must do situps, pushups and arm curls(maybe). /: I've lost 3 of the 10 pounds I've recently gained but I also lost my abs which were just starting to be defined when I lost all motivation to exercise. But summer is pretty close and I dunno, every year I think THIS is the year I'm going to have a perfect body for summer. Although I don't even know where/when I will be exposing my body as I have no social life. I guess I could tan in my parents' back yard (:

I've been stressed out today, trying to sell stuff on eBay so I can clean out my closet. Thinking of things to sell on eBay I looked for my Zelda for DS game and found the case but when I opened it it was empty! ): I self-medicated/retail therapy'd at the MAC counter today (: I told one of my friends today that the only thing that could be better than Hello Kitty for MAC is if Michael Jackson was the face of Hello Kitty for MAC. Haha! I would die of joy.

I finally decided I must return the amazing Karl Lagerfeld jacket that I bought last month. It was a stupid purchase (so were the Elie Tahari boots I bought at the same time but I'm keeping those because I'm sorry but I can't turn down a 84% off retail deal (I bought them for $100 during a shoe sale bluefly had). I wore them today actually. I have some black Kenneth Cole riding boots that lace up the front and zip up on the inside but I figured I also needed a pair of tall black boots that zip up the back.



I went to Macy's today (ashamedly) and I saw a really cute bag. It's made by B. Makowsky which I just googled and I found out he (Bruce???) is married to Kathy Van Zeeland! I realize that no one else in the world probably cares. And anyone who does care already knew this fact, but I was kinda like wtf? about it.

Well photobucket is down for maintenance right now which is putting a halt on my eBaying activities and a damper on my mood so I'm going to go to bed. Gut nacht!

Hello Kitty for MAC

Okay so my bf is perfect and got me Hello Kitty MAC makeup for my birthday. He got me a little compact of four eyeshadows (the Lucky Tom set) and the little HK doll and some blush and pressed powder (which both totally do not match my skin but I still think it's the best gift ever).

He also got me the "Baker's Delight" apron from Anthropologie which is perfect because I've always loved their aprons and it's totes adorbz.




I have been searching eBay trying to find the best deal on the sold out HK for MAC brush holder and set of 3 brushes but I really shouldn't spend money. I think I'm going to have to return my Karl Lagerfeld silk jacket that I got from Bluefly.



I always enter their contests hoping I'll win a "$5000 guilt free shopping spree" but to no avail.

Surprise.

Oh, ironically I made cupcakes tonight but did not wear my apron.
