I have to say, this post made me self-conscious. I'm going to be open and tell you I picked "landing strip" which I thought was completely common, but it turns out, I'm the only one. I'd like to think this poll is somewhat skewed because both men and women were voting and I think the chances of dudes sporting the landing strip is even rarer.

In regards to my grooming...I chose other. My grooming depends on various factors. Questions I ask myself when deciding the immediate future of my hair are:

1. How much time do I have to do this?
2. Am I getting laid in the near future?
3. Do I really want to look pre-pubescent?
4. Am I ready to deal with the itchy growing back stage?

That being said, I mostly go with trimmed and a natural shape, or completely bald with occasional visits to the other categories.

Well that's odd ...

I think my ex boyfriend is dating someone new. He's at least boning her and going on a vacay to Japan with her (I was stalking his facebook). Last night I was thinking "Hmm, wow it's been almost 5 months since I broke up with him. That's a kind of long time."

In many ways I'm totes over it but every now and then I fall apart and cry over it. Or I remember he gave me an engagement ring and I'm kinda like wtf? I don't know what to do with it. I don't think it's worth enough to bother selling and it's not something you can just throw away. /:

Mandz, Jeremy, Michael and I were talking about whether we'd prefer to see an ex with someone really attractive or someone ugly. Mandi and Michael said they'd prefer their ex to be with someone both ugly AND has a shitty personality. Jeremy and I were the opposite and said we'd rather have our ex's new gf/bf be physically attractive and have a great personality.

It's not that I'm particularly selfless or kind (because I'm not!). haha. It's just that if my ex started dating someone ugly and lame, I'd think they had low standards and assume that I too am ugly and lame. What do you guys think? I'm going to make this the new poll, but I want to hear your thoughts in the comments.

As I get older I'm realizing my taste in guys is getting broader. In all aspects, including age. Maybe I'm just getting desperate.

The other day my grandma called me to ask if I'd help her run some errands. While we were at the grocery store I passed this cute boy who waved at me and said "Hello." He had a really cute smile and for a second I had that awful insecure feeling where you think Oh crap! What if he was just smiling at me as a joke or out of pity? You know, the kind of insane insecurity that you have in middle school or high school. Or maybe that was just me. lol. Mostly I'm more confident than that, but not always. Slightly flustered, I smiled back and said "hi." But then when I got home and thought about it and I realized he's probably in high school. And then I felt kinda pervy. I hope he was 18 at least.

Okay, the blog title is retarded, I admit. But insomniac lolita tagged me to post one picture that represents my personal interior design style. It's Monticello. The entire estate but especially the house, and especially the library.

I mentioned a couple posts ago that the weather was fucking beautiful. It was actually warm enough to wear a bikini outside, and I caught up on some philosophy reading while soaking up some sun (: (Oh and regarding the soccer ball, I am in no way athletic, but sometimes I like to play with my dog in the back yard).

I have been sooo tired lately. I don't know what's causing it other than I was on my period. But that's done with now and I'm still tired.

Last night I took a pill cocktail of 1/2 vicodin 1/2 xanax 3 benadryl and my regular anti depressant (now I know what you're thinking, but I'm not tired just because of the pill cocktail because I don't normally take all that stuff). Anyway, I was feeling really cozy and happy and I forced myself to do 300 situps. Maybe it's just me, but I love to do situps right before I'm going to fall asleep, and sometimes I fall asleep between sets. But then afterwards I can just crawl into bed and pass out.

Anyway, last night the boy I'm pretty much in love with told me he loved me. And he's said it lots of times before, but for some reason either the way he said it or the way I heard it was different. Maybe it was just the pill cocktail. But it gave me that warm fuzzy love-y feeling and I'm still kind of riding that high (:

I have this shirt that I rarely wear anymore because it somehow shrank up into a "short-fat" it's from the 1988 National Rollerskating Championships in Lincoln, Nebraska. It says "RACHEL" on the back.

Men's wife beaters. I buy them in those really trashy packs of like, 8.

Umm ... I can't remember for sure. Probably dresses for Valentine's Day (I ended up not wearing any of the 3 dresses I bought, and opting for a black suede pencil skirt that I've had for quite awhile).

Describe your perfect winter & summer footwear:
Winter : Comfortable flat boots that aren't frumpy. Tall. Zip up. Easy to get on/off and fold your jeans into. Ridiculously tall hidden platform pumps/peep toes/patent leather. Anything heinous and over the top sexy that I can water down with tights and sweaters and long coats.

Summer : metallic leather flip flops, my white keds, brown/tan leather and suede.
