Another HK Giveaway

simple nee is apparently also doing a hello kitty giveaway! hers has 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes which is awesome! some of her prizes include hello kitty for MAC makeup, stationery, and other awesome hk goodies!

Part of the requirements for entry to her giveaway is to say what your favorite Hello Kitty thing that you own is. I am going to have to say my favorite is the Hello Kitty for MAC makeup. I have both eyeshadow palletes, the pink, white and gray nail polishes, a lipglass, a lipstick and the HK doll! The packaging for all of the MAC stuff was ADORABLE. I don't think I've thrown any of it away yet and I got it in February. So ... yeah. lol

So I am doing a give away and there are a couple reasons for this.

1) I really like sending things via snail mail and I have all this really cute Hello Kitty stuff that I would be happy to give away.

The winner of my Hello Kitty Giveaway gets a small HK notebook (Why yes, Hello Kitty IS riding a unicorn on the cover), HK pencil pouch, 3 HK pencils, HK eraser, HK pencil sharpener and my favorite part of the giveaway, a brand new never opened bottle of Hello Kitty for MAC nail polish in "Something About Pink."

There are three ways to enter.

This was the first card I ever sold. I love my mom, but I never came out of her vag (adopted) so I'll have to make a different card for her this year. lol. For those of you who were raised by their bio moms, think about giving her this card! Mother's Day is May 10 (fyi it's also Chococat's birthday) so hope you're prepared.

Ugh. I got so frustrated with tweaking my blog layout I went back to normal. I'm sure I'll try to change it up again soon though.

Yesterday was Michael's birthday and I didn't go up to Seattle to celebrate with him at his Russian themed party so today he is coming down to visit me. I'm going to show him a real good time. Like, take him to Wal-Mart and take pictures of him at midnight when it's officially his birthday. Oh wait, that's what he did for MY birthday. I'm pretty excited, and he should be too. Because I've been making his birthday present for months now. And this is it:







Just kidding. That's not his birthday present. That's the new clutch I've made! I'll post pictures of his present later though!

Reading this again makes me smile because packing for trips is always fun for me. It requires organizing which I enjoy and forming lists which I also enjoy. And it reminds me of having THINGS. Like clothes and gifts and accessories and it reminds me of when my biggest disappointment in my life was that my boyfriend wouldn't propose. I wonder how I would've felt if I knew today I would have an engagement ring from him. Sitting in a box on my dresser. And I'm single.

Hello Kitty for MAC

Okay so my bf is perfect and got me Hello Kitty MAC makeup for my birthday. He got me a little compact of four eyeshadows (the Lucky Tom set) and the little HK doll and some blush and pressed powder (which both totally do not match my skin but I still think it's the best gift ever).

He also got me the "Baker's Delight" apron from Anthropologie which is perfect because I've always loved their aprons and it's totes adorbz.




I have been searching eBay trying to find the best deal on the sold out HK for MAC brush holder and set of 3 brushes but I really shouldn't spend money. I think I'm going to have to return my Karl Lagerfeld silk jacket that I got from Bluefly.



I always enter their contests hoping I'll win a "$5000 guilt free shopping spree" but to no avail.

Surprise.

Oh, ironically I made cupcakes tonight but did not wear my apron.
